Leonard Cohen’s Greek island home was the inspiration point for the Waves of Hydra collection. It represents peace, escapism, artistic freedom, solitude and romance.

Ease, simplicity and quality fabrics are important elements to the designs. Every piece is cut and sewn in downtown Montreal using local pattern makers, seamstresses and suppliers.

About the Designer:

Lindsay Fernlund started in fashion by working as a clothing cutter for a few independent fashion brands in Toronto.

She went on to own vintage clothing store and gallery space Silver Falls. After many years in the retail world, she started a jean company with her business partner called Iris Denim. Their denim was sold across North America and beloved by many.

Wishing to explore other areas of fashion, Lindsay founded Waves of Hydra in 2019. Her focus was to create a highly wearable dream wardrobe.
